What we build, and how we work with partners

Revolink is a small engineering company. We take emerging technology, especially AI, and turn it into software and systems that run in production for media, education, business and maritime operations. Below is a plain description of what we do, followed by how we contribute to EU research and innovation projects.

AI & Intelligent Software

We build SaaS platforms and internal tools that use large language models where they genuinely help: reading and classifying documents, drafting and summarising, extracting structured data, and answering questions over an organisation's own information. Each system is designed around a real business process, with human review points, audit trails and a measurable outcome, rather than AI for its own sake.

Our typical stack is TypeScript or Python services on PostgreSQL, hosted LLM APIs with retrieval over the client's data, and modern web front-ends. We prototype quickly, measure, and then harden what works into a maintainable product.

Media & Broadcast Technology

Our roots are in television. We develop technology for TV production and playout, IPTV and OTT delivery, and live streaming, from set-top-box middleware integration to HLS delivery for mobile viewers and hospitality environments such as hotels and ships.

We also apply AI inside broadcast workflows: audience analytics, automated metadata and subtitling, content preparation, scheduling assistance and interactive formats for live programming. This is the domain where we bring the deepest operational experience to a consortium, because we have run these systems ourselves.

Digital Platforms & Automation

We design, build and operate digital platforms for commerce and operations: e-commerce storefronts and partner portals, document and invoice automation, and data platforms with dashboards that people actually use. We integrate payments, logistics, messaging and third-party APIs, and automate the manual steps in between.

The emphasis is on reliable, maintainable systems for small and mid-sized organisations, with clear documentation and sensible hosting costs. Where a workflow crosses several tools, we connect them rather than replace them.

EdTech & Applied AI Products

We build AI tools for education and training: lesson and material generation aligned to a given curriculum, assessment and feedback support, and interactive learning formats including quiz and game-style content for screens and classrooms.

We work with educators to keep the teacher in control of what is generated, and we treat content rights and learner data protection as design requirements from the first session. These products are a natural fit for skills-related actions under Erasmus+ and Digital Europe.

Drone & Aerial Operations (UAS)

Revolink carries out licensed drone operations under the EASA framework for aerial video, infrastructure and site inspection, and coastal and maritime monitoring. Flights are planned and documented to the applicable operational category, with the required operator registration and remote-pilot certification in place.

What makes this more than a camera in the sky is the transmission layer. We integrate aerial platforms with resilient bonded-network video links (Revolink is a Peplink partner), so live footage from a drone, a vehicle or a vessel reaches a control room over several cellular connections at once, with satellite as a fallback where needed. Combined with vessel-mounted cameras, this gives a single aerial-plus-maritime monitoring picture for ports, coastlines and offshore operations, and a ready-made building block for EMFAF and Horizon Europe pilots.

How we work

Small team, production discipline

Rapid prototyping

A working demonstrator early in the project, so the consortium can test assumptions with real users before committing to a full build.

Production-grade delivery

Version control, automated deployment, monitoring and documentation as standard. What we pilot is designed to keep running after the project ends.

Open standards

Standard protocols and formats (HLS, REST, OpenAPI, PostgreSQL) so that partners can integrate with our components without lock-in.

Data protection by design

GDPR-aware architecture from the outset: data minimisation, EU hosting where required, and clear roles for controllers and processors.

EU research & innovation

A technology SME partner for EU programmes

Revolink participates as a technology SME partner in EU research and innovation programmes, including Horizon Europe, EMFAF, Digital Europe and the programmes of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) of Cyprus. We are open to consortium invitations where a small, hands-on technology partner is needed to design, build and pilot software components or field systems.

We take on clearly scoped technical roles: developing platform components and integrations, building pilots and demonstrators, running aerial and maritime data-collection campaigns, and carrying results forward into products after the project.
